The Magnolia Independent Film Festival’s fiftheenth season lights up the screen February 16-18 in Starkville, Mississippi. The festival features film from Mississippi directors as well as many from around the world. This year’s festival includes filmmakers from West Point, Tupelo, Blue Springs, Birminham, Spain, Bangledesh and from across the U.S. The 2012 festival includes 4 feature-length films in addition to many funny, moving and interesting shorts, which range from 30 seconds to half-an-hour. All festival screenings are at the State Theater in downtown Starkville. Come out to enjoy drink specials at the bar and watch in a relaxed, fun atmosphere, where you have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the filmmakers and actors whose work is being shown.
